Moving from the shorthand version to about 70 years later, we come across another wacky book, an adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" from 1985.

But, wait a minute! Doesn't that cover look like it's from one of those Australian animated versions? Scrooge in the red nightshirt - that's the one from 1982!

So, yes, this adaptation is liberally illustrated with artwork from that 1982 special, although it makes no reference to that source.
