In looking at Hugo von Hofsten's illustrations for the 1907 edition of "A Christmas Carol" from The Rainy Day Series, I had the feeling that some of them seemed a bit familiar.
A lot of the same scenes are illustrated fairly often, but this one of Scrooge and Bob Cratchit seemed particularly as if I had seen it before:
It didn't take me too long to realize it was obviously based on Fred Barnard's illustration from 1878:

Yup!
Hmmm... Did anyone in America in 1907 know these were based on British drawings from almost 30 years before?
Probably not, but in 2021 we sure do!
