Or is there a serious lack of new Scrooge/"A Christmas Carol" content this year?

Sorry, Bob!
Somehow I have the feeling that even if Scrooge & Marley had promotional mugs like this, Bob C wouldn't get one!
No hot beverage to warm him up!

Sooper Dooper!
I don't know much about this other than it's a fun, modern take on "A Christmas Carol" aimed at the youngsters!
You can check it out at Sooper Books!
And who knew E. Scrooge uses a Mac?

Back to School!
Did young Ebenezer Scrooge ever actually go back to school?
Or did he just go off to school once then never leave until Fan came to get him and at that point never went back? Hmmm...
Carry on!

Put Out That Fire!
Here's Scrooge as a candle snuffer:
He really looks like he'll yell at you if you don't snuff that candle soon!

Totally Rad!
Here's a snazzy ornament from Christopher Radko:
No surprise that it goes for big bucks on the secondary market!

Have a Cup!
You see a ton of Scrooge mugs, some more interesting than others, such as this one:
I like that it lists the characters!

Kind of Creepy!
Here's another jug with another take on how the handle should be, well, handled:
Creepy! What's TT whispering into Scrooge's ear?

Highly Flammable!
Here's an interesting Toby jug:
I know these things have to have a handle, but doesn't it look like Scrooge will light his nightcap on fire?

Thumbs Up!
Here's a fun collectible:
It's a thimble from Staffordshire!
If you trust pre-reformed Scrooge to protect your fingers!

Meta!
I always like to have fun with something meta, such as this illustration:
How can Scrooge be reading "A Christmas Carol?"
Or is that not "A Christmas Carol" as we know it, but another book with that title in Scrooge's fictional universe?
Or is that not really Scrooge?
It reminds me of the beginning of the "Shower of Stars" version where a gentleman purchases a copy of "A Christmas Carol" in a bookshop, then walks into the story.
Of course, I do realize that this is just a fun illustration, but it does raise questions!
The art is by Amber Duan and is from the Study Breaks website where it accompanies an essay by Angelica Rovinksi.
There's an interesting little nugget thrown in that I'll talk about next time...

Lurking About!
Bransby Williams always seems to be lurking about, doesn't he?
Here he is in character as Scrooge on this postcard from 1907:
Pretty neat!

Double Back!
The Enesco Jack-in-the Box representation of Ebenezer Scrooge seemed a bit off-model, but this one from Department 56 seems even weirder:
I get such a weird vibe from that!
Department 56 also issued one featuring Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim, which I think is much more successful:
I like him better with Bob, though!
