Always on the lookout for a wacky novelty, here's "A Christmas Carol" transcribed into Gregg Shorthand!

This system was developed by John Robert Gregg in 1888, so it had been around for thirty years at the time of this book and had established itself as the predominant shorthand system in the U.S.

Crazy that people can read that!

The book is only about 50 pages long, so it's definitely shortened (Get it? Kinda rhymes with shorthand?) quite a bit. I wonder how it reads!
