We were just admiring the illustrations by C.E. Brock from the 1905 edition of "A Christmas Carol," so it seems like a good time to take a look at this illustration of Tiny Tim by H.M. (Henry Matthew) Brock (1875-1960), younger brother of Charles (C.E.).
I don't know too much about this one, but the image that's floating around out there is from "The Children's Omnibus" by John Keir Cross, which was published in 1948. I would tend to think it wasn't commissioned for that volume, but who knows?
I understand that H.M. Brock provided illustrations for a 1935 edition of "A Christmas Caro," but I haven't been able to rack those down yet.
