We hang around the 1840s to check out this stage version of "A Christmas Carol" as adapted by C.Z. (Charles Zachary) Burnett and originally presented in 1843, hot on the heels of the original publication of the book.
This particular printing from "Dicks' Standard Plays" is from about 1883, but is presumably close to the original.
It crams a ton of stuff into the 9 page script and throws in a few twists!
