Since we went off the beaten path of actual adaptations of "A Christmas Carol" the last couple of times, let's go even further afield with "Scrooge of the Underworld," a snappy little true-crime story from the December 1950 issue of the "Crime Must Pay the Penalty" comic book.

With the name of the comic book being "Crime Must Pay the Penalty," you know that this miserly gangster wouldn't get the chance to change his ways!
I do think these comic books are interesting in that they present a moral to the kids reading them, but they still provide plenty of blood-thirty entertainment.
No wonder the Comics Code Authority was on the way!
