Bonus Tim Curry!

Tim Curry must really like "A Christmas Carol," as in addition to his voice acting as Scrooge in the 1997 animated direct-to-video version, he also was involved in a couple of other productions.

He played "Scrooge" in the long-running musical adaptation staged at New York's Madison Square Garden in 2001.

Here's a video of him performing a number from show as part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade:

The music for that show is by Alan Menken, composer of the songs for Disney's "The Little Mermaid" (1989) and "Beauty and the Beast" (1991). It's too bad that animated version with Tim Curry didn't have that distinction.

Tim Curry also recorded an unabridged reading of the book for Audible in 2016. It's about three and a half hours long and very entertaining.

And, if that's not enough, he also narrated the 2006 direct-to-video "A Sesame Street Christmas Carol."

Now, that's dedication!
