We hang around the early 1950s to visit another old-time radio version of "A Christmas Carol" This time we have Edmund Gwenn starring on the December 22, 1951 episode of "Stars Over Hollywood."
Edmund Gwenn is best-known for his Oscar winning portrayal of Kris Kringle in the 1947 Christmas movie classic "Miracle on 34th Street," so it may seem surprising to hear him play Scrooge, but he was a versatile actor.
It seems that any self-respecting British actor would have a go at Scrooge, but this version also has a little twist!
