While we're in a visual mode, let's take a look at some lobby cards from theatrical adaptations of "A Christmas Carol," starting with the esteemed 1951 film "Scrooge" starring Alastair Sim.
These are from the American release, as evidenced by the "A Christmas Carol" title, the movie being renamed in case we didn't know who Scrooge is!

These would seem to be colorized frames from the film rather than stills shot with color film, as Scrooge's robe changes color!
The copy calling Alastair Sim "incomparable" is spot on, but doesn't the little Tiny Tim cartoon look like he's going to hit cartoon Mr. Sim with that polo mallet, ur… crutch?
