We continue our little look at Scrooge-related novelty records from the 1950s with this record from the brilliant satirist Stan Freberg.
He plays upon our familiarity with "A Christmas Carol" and its characters to recast Scrooge as an advertising executive and Bob Cratchit ("Cratchet" per the record label) as the owner of a small spice company.
Stan Freberg plays Scrooge and top voice man Daws Butler plays Cratchit and I think they're great.
